Official Nokia Lumia 900 pictures leak   Leave a comment

With 3hours, 25minutes and 5seconds remaining (thanks to a count down timer)before the start of Nokia’s press briefing at CES 2012 in Las Vegas, Pocketnow.com has revealed the first leaked images of the Nokia Lumia 900 seen below:

After rumours that the Lumia 900 will have a metal body the above images confirm to a large extent what we have been thinking for a while, namely that the Lumia 900 is basically an oversized Lumia 800. There is however the following reports from mynokiablog.com:

Nokia has chosen to change the curved screen on the Lumia 800′s big sister, the Lumia 900 to a flat screen with a seemingly horrid raised bezel. Just my opinion though, I despise raised bezels.

Hopefully either the author is incorrect, or the flat screen is better than he thinks, luckily the wait is almost over. Nokia’s booth setup is going nicely as can be seen below, posted initially by CNET:

One will notice the red squares at the left, bottom corner. Magnified below:

According to Pocketnow & Mynokiablog.com, they picture the Lumia 900. Must admit, I’m not 100% sure, but hey! What do I know 🙂

Hopefully (and this as I have said before, is a huge “hopefully”) Nokia will launch the entire Lumia range locally, nl. 710, 800 & 900  all at once and all before the end of February. It might be the reason why Nokia RSA has not confirmed anything up to date as obviously they couldn’t have said anything about the Lumia 900 yet.

The only thing we know for sure…we’ll find out sooner rather than later. Be sure to check in tomorrow morning first thing for a summary of Nokia’s announcement at CES 2012.
